For 8 Minutes and 46 seconds, George Floyd had his neck under the pressed knee of a Derek Chauvin, a white police officer Minneapolis Police Department. "I can't breathe" was what Floyd told the police officers before passing out and dying at the hands of the people who are supposed to protect us. The world erupted into protest because such race driven deaths have haunted the United States for 500 years, and it seems like nothing has changed. I put together this panel of Black & African American NYC Commercial Real Estate executives to get their insights into the incident as well as what we can do to enlighten, and empower the next generation....
